Logan's Official Newborn Pictures!

Today I finally went to pick up Logan's newborn prints from Letson's studios. I can't believe he's already 10 weeks old ad I'm just now getting them. No fault of theirs ..sometimes it can be a challenge getting things done with two little ones but these beautiful prints were well worth the wait. The one of Kal-el looking at his little brother is one that I will charish for a life time. My scanner is down so please excuse any grainyness in the photo quality. I actually took a picture of a picture..Oh I know, I know, but I simply could not wait to share. On another awesome note sweet baby Logan has offically started sleeping through the night. He is such a good baby. Today has definately been a great day!

Happy Birthday Poppa!

Today is the birthday of one of the most precious human beings I know. My sweet Poppa! He turns 83 today. He is such a big part of all of our lives and we love him dearly. He's Kal-el's favorite play buddy and he's always meant the world to both Chris and I as well as the rest of our family. We had a family celebration for him this past Sunday at Fiesta. We all had a wonderful time but I didn't want to leave him without cake on his actually birthday so Super and I baked him a little cake at home last night. This morning Chris, the boys, and I carried it over to him. He loves chocolate so that's what I made. He said it was wonderful. He would of said that regardless because he's just that sweet. I remember playing in the kitchen with him when I was very little. I would pretend to cook and literally mix almost every ingredient out of Nannie and Poppa's kitchen to make what ever concoction that came to mind. He always played along and sampled almost everything. I love my kids dearly but there is no way I would sample some of the things I know little creative minds can come up with. But thats just how special Poppa is and how much he loves him family. He has taught me so much over the years and if I'm able to carry even half of it over to my babies I know they will grow up to be amazing young men. I'm grateful for each and every day that Poppa is a part of our lives. Happy 83rd Birthday Poppa..We love you :)
