The Boys Meet Zoey!

A couple of days ago Logan had his one year pictures taken in Decatur with Bailey. I had been looking forward to this day for a couple of weeks. The main reason was because after his pictures we planned to head over to Beth's to meet sweet baby Zoey for the very first time! Our day went exactly as planned and sweet Z was most certainly worth the wait. She is an absolute little doll! I always say that I wish Beth and I lived closer. We had such a nice visit with. They never seem long enough :) Luckily, we don't live to far away so hopefully will have countless play dates as Zoey gets a little older. Zoey, I'm so sorry you had to see your future boyfriend dressed inappropriately in his one year outfit. I'll make sure he's a little more reserved next time around lol! ;)

Mommy's Birthday Celebrations!

This birthday was probably one of the best ever for me! Mainly because my sweet grandmother is doing so well again. Things could have easily gone in a very different direction but thanks to answered prayers they did not! Not only did I get my birthday wish for her to be well enough to enjoy a piece of my cake but I had a great day with my husband, sweet boys and Poppa. Even though it fell at a time that the entire extended family couldn't be there it was still very special to me! On my actually birthday day Mom, Larry and the boys and I enjoyed a birthday dinner. Then today was extra special because its the day that my hubby and sweet kiddos celebrated my birthday. Chris Bear gets me shoes every year for my birthday. He literally NEVER disappoints and I think this years may be my favorite yet. :) We decided to grab lunch at Fiesta (my favorite) just like every year but we ate earlier in the day so Poppa could join us. We planned on finishing up just before visiting hours at rehab so we could carry Nannie a piece of cake. I really wanted a quiet relaxing lunch so I was a little surprised when the sombrero came flying over my head. I never saw either Chris or Poppa get up to tell anyone so I was totally surprised. I later found out that my lovely Aunt Shane had called the restaurant to let them know. How sweet is that?! I'm so so very grateful and so blessed to enjoy another year of life with the people I love. I think the 30's are going to be wonderful and I plan to fully embrace them!
