Its old news that I don't really get into the whole New Years Resolution thing and think its a very odd holiday if you can even call it that. Seems crazy to wait for January if something needs urgently changed in the present. I dont have anything urgent to address but I do have a few goals. They mainly involve being more organized. I need to prepare waaaay further in advance for holidays. I'm pretty successful in doing this on the business end for Capes & Crowns but I need to do better on the personal stand point. For example, I hATE that I didn't do Christmas cards for the boys this year. Family pictures are definitely another goal for the coming year. We dont have any recent professional ones of the 4 of us. Luckily, I have an awesome photographer thats a friend. I also had another photographer from my modeling days contact me so I may even have some edgy ones done of us if we can decide on a date we could take a weekend in Nashville :)
Like any year there were ups and downs that came along with 2013. Certainly, more ups and I'm so greatful for that. We bought our home in Florence this year, my company was published in more than one national magazine, Chris remains undefeated in his MMA hobby, and the boys get more amazing by the day. most recently, Logan is really blossoming, I feel like hes on the verge on sentences. He has even started saying "here you go". Music to my ears! Kal-El fascinates me and makes me laugh daily :)
Just wanted to do a this quick post to have a closing point for this year. I always turn my blogs into a book at the end of the year for my babies. We had a relaxing New years eve. We are waiting on Chris to return from Memphis. We ordered pizza, watched movies, and just relaxed. Can't wait to see what the coming year has in store for us. I know that we have our Oregon trip in March and I really look forward to that! :)
I'll let the next three pictures be the indication as to whether or not we made it to midnight! :)

Christmas Day 2013!
We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We managed to avoid major sickness on the day of but here I am today with a slight fever and coughing up a lung :/ Because of this I'll let the pictures do the talking for this post. We didnt eat with our entire extended family this year and I really missed everyone! Hopefully next year we can all enjoy Christmas together. We had super yummy Italian food complete with Italian cream cake!!! The boys received waaaay too many toys and in the word of Superman...."This was the best Christmas ever!" Merry Christmas everyone!
