Whew! Today has been long but SO much fun. We started off our day with a an appointment in Huntsville for Kal-El. He had a couple of really rough respiratory infections and we needed to rule out asthma. Long story short he is thankfully the picture of health and most likely has minor allergy issues that are exasperated when he has a viral infection and a super sensitive cough reflex. I was able to get his quadrivalent flu injection while we were there...totally worth the drive just for that. Anywaaaay back to spooky day...Halloween has easily become a favorite around our house. Both boys have enjoyed every single day leading up to the night of trick or treat. Logan has picked up so many words this week...all Halloween related...witch, ghost, zombie (along with an imitation thats too cute for words), skeleton ..the list goes on :) Kal-El has been counting down the days until he got to wear his octopus costume. I wish I had of spent more time in thinking up something all of us could be bc K really wanted Chris and I to wear something too. Next year Im sure we'll go crazy with it next year :)
We started tonight off at my moms while Chris stayed at our house to pass out some candy to the early treators. My hubby was a tropper today. He hasnt slept in over 24 hrs bc of work. I dont see how he does it but he was an awesome sport. Mom had huge goody bags for the boys when we arrived. She even put clothes in there for them. Umm can I trick or treat too lol. They are spoiled superheros! We only went to 4 or 5 houses in her neighborhood bc they already had PLENTY of candy. We came back home to help Chris hand out the candy bc we generally have a lot of kids in our neighborhood. Kal-El and Logan enjoyed handing it out and seeing the kids in their costumes even more than going themselves. We had an exhausting, funfilled, sugar coma kind of night. Cant wait to do it again next year!
