Happy HALF Birthday Super!
I can't believe my baby is 2 and a half years old. It doesn't seem like it's been 6 months since his Mickey Mouse extravaganza party where I was 6 months pregnant, huge and exhausted running around planning and getting everything together. Now here he is officially 2.5 today! Half birthdays are such a nice contrast from the big official birthday parties I throw on real birthdays. It's just our immediate family and a sweet treat and toy for the Half-er :)
Kal-el and I got up early this morning and went to Wal-mart for him to pick out a new toy. He of course chose a Lightening McQueen car. He's really really on a Disney's Cars kick right now. Although I love most all things Disney, Cars is really just not my favorite. But It's not my half birthday lol :) On our way back home I stopped at Yummies for him to pick out a cupcake. Kal-el is doing great with his counting. He's up to 13 now. I tried to purchase just one cupcake for him since I'm dieting, Chris Bear is out of town and not due back until tonight, and I knew Super would probably only be able to finish off one in its entirety..not that he needed more. Wellll that didn't go exactly as planned. "Kal-el do you want a cupcake?" ....."No Momma two cupcake..three cupcake...four Kal-el eat 4 cupcake." How many do you think I ended up leaving with? If you said four you guessed right that my spoiled child won :)
If anyone ever asked me before I had kids would I ever celebrate half birthdays I probably would of given what I thought was an enlightened answer that sounded something ...absolutely not ..thats the most self serving and over indulgent thing I've ever heard of. I would foolishly presume that would ruin a child or in some weird way cause them to be shallow and attention seeking. I see it so differently now. Children are such a blessing and childhood goes by way too fast. Nothing is ever silly or a waste of time if its done in the name of love and building memories. Most importantly its fun! We had a fabulous day today. The next time we have cake for Kal-el he will be turning 3! I better start planing now...I just kind of hope he's over Cars by then. But if not a cars party it is ;) Happy Half sweet baby boy. We love you!

Logan is 3 months old!
Yay we have hit the 3 month mark! Now the fun truly begins :) I'll be the first to admit the newborn phase is not my absolute favorite but it's been hard to complain about even the smallest things because Logan is such a good baby. He has been an absolute breeze. The one thing that's changed up a little lately is that he really doesn't sleep much at all during the day. Yesterday he took only one nap and it lasted maybe an hour..HOWEVER..he now sleeps 8-10 hours at night. See what I mean about not being able to complain :)
He has the sweetest disposition. He's still extremely fond of big brother. He always finds away to look at Kal-el. His favorite discoveries this month are #1 his hands! He loves them! He will make little fist in the air (superhero like, of course) and smile, coo, and laugh at them. So precious :) Running a close second would have to be his Bumbo chair courtesy of Kal-el. It was Super's when he was a baby but he never really cared for it. Logan, however loves it. He is also different from Kal-el in that he really enjoys his mobile. Super could of cared less about mobiles.
Logan is now wearing 6 months sized clothing and it seems like he grows more everyday. When I carried him to the doctor's last week he weighted in at 14.5 lbs. Big boy :) I know why he still adores his milk! I can't wait to see what the next few month have in store as we embark on some more new, exciting developmental milestones! Happy 3 months baby Logan! We love you!!!
