Talk about a spontaneous, impromptu haircut for baby Logan. Chris and I were getting groceries and decided to take him for a quick trim at a generic cut and go place at the lovely Wal-Mart. I figured it wouldn't be a problem to just have his ends snipped a little. I didn't want an upscale place getting excited and scissor happy to give him a "style". Am I the only one that can't stand really really FRESH haircuts on little boys? Don't know what it is but it drives me insane. It's probably the combination of it looking much too old on a young face and the fact that haircuts in general look better a week or so after. Logan has already been called a girl several times in the last month so we figured now was a good time. My main reason though was the fact that it was starting to get in his little eyes towards the front and dancing dangerously close to resembling a mullet in the back. We can't have that. Ever. Soooo in the chair he went. I wont lie, as ridiculous as it sounds I almost cried. I didn't do that with Kal-El but Logan is much more tender and baby like. Even at one he still looks like a real life baby doll. I was relieved when we left that he still in fact had lots of hair. I put some locks in a little envelope for a keepsake. I'll most likely tape it to the inside of one of our blog books since that is the way I document everything for the Borquez house. The most memorable part of the experience for me was when the stylist used her spray bottle. Logan is starting to get a little bit of a temper. He would turn bright red and shake a little when she squirted it around his eyes. I understand his reaction. You would to if you had a little brother that loved to splash water in your face. In spite of the water he did very well sitting in Daddy's lap while the scissors went to work and Mommy crindged in the background...and interjected about every 20 seconds with "Ok that's enough...looks great thanks.." The first time I said it she haven't even began to cut! In spite of my worries it turned out precious and I don't regret it at all :)
All Done :) We dropped by the rehab facility to see if Nannie noticed his new do'
Yay Mommy I can see! :)

Logan's One Year Pictures!
I was a little late not only getting Logan's pictures scheduled but also getting them made. We have just had a lot going on the past few weeks but I'm so happy with them! They were worth the wait. My friend Bailey took these. She's taken Super's pictures in the past so I was so excited for her to shoot Logan. Looks like I finally have everything picture related goals checked off my list. Maybe we'll have some family pictures in the next few months. I'm including almost every picture in this post. It was a little hard to choose...enjoy!
