Last week I started making a few routine back to school appointments for the boys. At the top of my list was an eye exam for Kal. I honestly didn't think he had any issues with vision but sometimes he will stand a little close to the tv. At first I assumed that he nor Logan were just never still long enough to actually sit down to watch TV but it still bugged me a bit so I got it checked out. Glad we did. Super is near sighted. He hated having his eyes dilated and was not a happy camper about the idea of glasses until he saw a green pair and literally fell in love with them. We bought them the same day and he wears them proudly. He looks so handsome in them and I have never seen him so thankful for something. It was sweet and pitiful at the same time ♡ He was excited about seeing red lights better. Made me cry ♡ I also have no clue how he was hitting the baseball this last season half blind but I'm guessing he will be a beast this next year when he can actually see the ball lol. He gave no other clues that his vision wasn't perfect other than sometimes standing up by the tv so I strongly recommend annual eye exams...I don't think the school ones cut it. We joke that people won't know he's superman now lol. Little Clark ♡ I have always had sort of a fondness for glasses and when he was upset about them I reminded him that we chose to wear glasses for his magazine cover shot when he didn't even need them....bc they are cool. I promised him if he ever gets uncomfortable I'll buy a pair of my own with prescription free lenses and rock those bad boys Dr. Quinzel style :) I don't think we'll have any issues though. He's already picked out a blue sports set for football to match his uniform. ♡

Art Classes
I wanted Kal-El to have something to occupy his time for the summer before sports and school started back up. He loves art so we decided that art class at Hobby Lobby would be a great fit. He's had about 6 classes so far and really loves it! I get to walk around the store for an hour while he paints. That normally would be pretty dangerous for me but so far I've been in between party themes so no damage. I'm in full swing with Ivy now however so that's probably about to change lol! I'm so proud of Super's work. I have three pieces already handing and I wouldn't mind filling the walls full. Very proud of my little artist. ♡
Football Camp!
It's that time of year again! Kal-El had football camp this week to close out the summer. He's so excited and so are we. It's by far his favorite sport and one he excels at bc he really puts his heart in it. We got fitted for uniforms yesterday and he's built just like a little football player ♡ I'm really excited that we don't have white pants this year also lol! I hope it's a great season...we have wonderful coaches and little players. Go warriors!
Reptile Day at Petco!
It's no secret that Kal is obsessed with snakes. One of our local pet stores had a day dedicated to reptiles. There's no way we could not be there! Both boys really enjoyed it. Logan is always a little too touchy feely with the serpents lol. He was find of a yellow one he called Sunshine and kept trying to tickle it. Sunshine didn't really dig that :) We visited with the snakes for a couple of hours and managed to leave without purchasing a corn snake. That's a win in my book. All.day. I have a feeling that Super will end up with a pet snake soon but I'm holding out as long as I can!
Father's Day
I had to go back and share this bc the home made cards the boys made for Chris for Father's Day were too funny and sweet not too. Now that Logan talks so well I let him answer the questions all by himself. His answers had me in tears lol. Chris loved them too. Logan himself is still the best father's day gift that keeps giving :) I'm so lucky to have a husband that loves being a father and invests quality time with his children. I'm also very fortunate to have my precious grandfather in my life who had always been like a father to me. Happy Father's Day to the two best daddies I know ♡
My Birthday :)
I had an amazing day with my family on my birthday. My favorite part was my Harley Quinn cake. It's quickly becoming a new tradition! I'll be keeping the writing very brief on these next few posts because I'm blogging mobile today but still really need to get caught up before school starts :) I didn't get a shot of Logan bc he wouldn't let me. We ate lunch at Umi's and he spent the entire day telling me it was his birthday LOL he cried when he saw my Harley Quinn cake and said it was supposed to be a Shark King cake instead. ♡ I love that my boys and hubby always go out of their way to treat me like a princess on my special day. 33 is going to be a fun year!!
