Christmas Eve!

   Today is Christmas eve! The boys and I let Chris Bear relax and recoup from his illness while Mom, Larry,the boys and I went to see Frozen. The boys seemed to really enjoy it. We came back home to work on the gingerbread train with Chris and that was totally a colossal FAIL! The pieces fell and apart and the boys ate them!!  Up next we have cookies to bake for Santa. I ran out of time to replace the plate that Chris accidentally put in the dishwasher! He got in big trouble for that one! I'll make sure to get a really special one next year for sure ;) We watched Man of Steel tonight..it was one of the stocking stuffers we decided to do early! Time to read It was the Night Before Christmas and tuck the Superheros in and wait for Santa's arrival!

Storm Party At Moms!

 A couple of days ago our area was predicted to have some severe storms that could possibly produce tornadoes. I hate the 'T' word! My mom called and ask if the boys and I want to spend the night with her so we wouldnt be alone during the storm. She ends with "there will diazepam and tacos" I started the car! We had such a fun night :) Lots of laughter and good food. We really need to make it a monthly event minus the severe weather part. My poor hubby got home in the early morning hours and felt AWFUL. I went home early from moms the next morning so I could take him to the doctor. He thought he had the flu but thankfully the test was negative. I gave him a little grief over his illness but he really is my first baby and I'm ready for him to be well again so we can enjoy Christmas eve and day with the boys. Looks like today will be another movie day for the Borquez house. I love this month and wouldnt trade these days for anything!

School Christmas Party!

 Today was Kal-El's Christmas party at school! Logan had to miss because he's still recuperating from being sick :( It was also pajama day so ninja turtles were in full force with Super :) I went up to the school early so I could get pictures of him playing dirty santa....he was NOT happy with my photo documenting LOL He had a great time and really loves his school! He got to play tug of war for the first time today and his class won so he was overjoyed. Logan is feeling lots better today so hopefully we can work on a gingerbread train tonight. For now, Chris and Kal-El are enjoying the Home Alone trilogies. I love this time of year! :)
