Keeping up with Kal-el - May

Since our little super hero is constantly growing and makeing new discoveries in this big world around him I've decided to dedicate one monthly post to his latest developments, this enables me to keep a better record of the small things that I treasure so much!

   - So far Super is still left handed like Mommy

   - He recently has become a strawberry fanatic, while at the same time has become increasingly picky with his "old" favorite foods. We have succeeded in completely burning him out on blueberry pancakes

   -  He gives kisses on command but its not very consistant unless of course your Ginger and she doesn't even have to ask

   - Lately a shy streak has emerged, usually with strangers but he'll even play coy and flirt with me and hide his little face.

    - He still on occasion will "love bite" us with no warning..ouch :)

   - Speaking of teeth we are getting two jaw teeth in this week..no fun for anyone

   - He LOVES walking, and playing chase he has even broken into a slight run following me.

-He has a toy phone that we got him for his birthday but he still prefers to playwith ours..when he gets my phone he holds it right up to his ear and in that adorable little raspy, all boy voice of his says "DADA" over and over he obviously wants to talk to his Daddy

- As of this month here are the words Kal-el says on a regular basis: Dada, Mama, Goo gurl Geeensger(good girl Ginger), and he has a few words that he has said once or twice that got us all really excited ..those words are..Mimsy, Poppa, Na Na (Nannie), dog, nose.

- As noses go he can now point his as well as Handy Manny's out..we are working on the other features

- Super has learned that he can mess with me by calling me "DaDa" from cross them room and giggles hysterically as I say "NO! MaMa!" lol :)

- He now throws his hands in the air and dances to really great urban music courtesy of Mommy and Mimsy

- He has out smarted us all by removing the safety wall plugs from the sockets and making me chase him. He got in trouble yesterday. He saw me going towards him with the plug in his little hand he actually ran back over to the wall and tried desperately to return the plug to its rightful place so he wouldn't get scolded. I was laughing so hard I couldn't if I had to!

-He squints his eyes at us playfully all the time!
