Ponies and Airplanes!

Kal-el gave us all quite a scare Tuesday night. I think it's safe to say that since then we have all been doing a wonderful job of ruining him.. If there was ever any question before about him being spoiled it's offically confirmed!
Dr. Melvin gave us an excellent report and confirmed what we had been told at the ER. He assured us that a Febrile Seizure was harmless but very frightening to parents. Unfortunately we learned that is he likely to have another. We were quoted a 50/50 chance. We could still beat the odds but we have to be prepared. The high note is that children rarely ever have more than a total of 3 febrile seizures if they go on to have another one. While I never want to know what that number feels like at least if it does happen there is some end in sight! We just have to pray and be ready if it does occur again.
Gifts galore have been making there way to Super and he has received almost no descipline since that awful night.  Yep, this little toddler has had it made for the last few days. When we went to lunch at Fiesta Thurday Kal-el did his usually pointing and grunting at the toy machine. We usually kind of just rush out and ignore the money trap because it seems as if the plush toys are almost impossible to capture. Well not today I think the final count of bills that Chris pulled out of his wallet ended up being $11. Super now has an adorable stuffed giraffe and elephant to show for Daddy's efforts! Once we arrived home Aunt Vicki called to let us know that she had a little something for Kal-el. She and Harold brought over the cutest rocking horse for Super. He loves it even though he hasn't quite caught on how to ride it just yet. Kellie, my sweet friend, coworker , and shared lover of all things Disney brought the Beauty and the Beast dvd fresh out of the vault . We watched it a total of three times. I knew everyword. Chris loves my beautiful singing voice. Incase you havent had the pleasure of hearing it..I'm a bit tone deaf! lol The fun was far from over.  Larry brought Kal-el the most adorable little rideable Elmo airplane when he flew into town to see Mimsy this weekend. He flys he's own plane so it's such a sweet gift coming from him. Super loved the airplane as soon as he saw it. They have been inseperable all weekend.
Since our little man gets a kick out of trying on our houseshoes we bought him a little pair that look almost just like he's Dada's. He has pranced around in them all weekend. He has been a little clingy since Tuesday night. I know he doesn't understand what happend and I'm sure he was just as confused and frightened as we were. I'm sure everything will return to its normal routine in a matter of a few days but for now Super toddler will not be denied any amenities.
