This morning Chris and I carried Logan in for a visit with Dr. Melvin for his 9 month check up. Everything looked great with our sweet boy. He weight in at almost 24 lbs and 30 inches putting him at over the 80th percentile for weight and same for height. I couldn't believe that the numbers were the same. I knew he was heavy but I was surprised he was as tall. He's still our smaller Borquez boy but definitely above average. They will both catch up to me shortly after kindergarten I'm sure! ;) I talked to Dr. Melvin about him not crawling just yet and he told me to just let him go at his own pace. He asked me a series of developmental questions and informed me that based on the first few alone he was on par with an 11 or 12 month (if not more) developmentally. We were also told to go ahead and introduce the sippy cup to him. We can also incorporate about an ounce or so a day of whole milk to get him used to the idea and taste. No shots today only one little finger prick to make sure his blood count was where it should be. It checked out great as well. We are blessed and happy to have a very happy, healthy, big 9 month old! :)
Going to pick out his sippy :)
