Well last night may not of gone the way we wanted it to but we still LOVE our Oregon Ducks in this house! We certainly didn't expect to not come away with the win but thats football. I blame it on us not being able to watch as a united front with Chris being on the road ;) Winning lasts night game would of put us at #1 but instead an upset occurred. Stanford was able to pull it off with a field goal in overtime. I never disrespect or put down other teams. Especially college teams that have "kids" on their rosters. It's not like they are playing for millions but oddly they feel the same amount of pressure all while trying to earn an education and be judged by the bubba has been couch potatoes of the world. This to shall pass...in life and in football..thats true whether your on the losing or winning end. What amazes me is what the young men on either our team or an opposing team have to say about a win. They are usually so graceful, thoughtful, and considerate when addressing their win or loss. It makes me wish that grown adult fans would conduct themselves with more class and act accordingly. Sadly, sometimes I'm embarrassed of my state and their lack of regard for others and how it runs a little deeper than football. But I digress. Oregon has very big things happening for them on the road ahead. I almost hope we can hold out just a little longer on the BCS title because I want my little duckies to be able to enjoy it. Hopefully they will be enjoying it from Autzen Stadium Or better yet ...play in it ;) But for now they can just be content enjoying Puddles and learning about the game itself. Go Ducks!
