Kal-El still really loves school! I'm so proud of him. He has such an independent spirit and absolutely looks forward to every single morning. He enjoys learning and has a genuine thirst for it that I hope never ever dissipates. I cant say enough how much I love his teacher. She has been so great about communicating with me and they really like each other. Its made the school year so much easier on me. I feel like we are kind of spoiled at this point. She messaged me the other day to say that Super had a few little spots on his neck. I actually drove up to take a look. They ended up being bug bites from football practice and Kal-El glared at me for pulling him out of class for 5 mins...but he did hug and kiss me when he figured out he was getting to go back to class. I just really appreciate her. Not only he is doing really well with all the material (most of it we did at home already up until these last few recent lessons) but his behavior has been great also. He's had two "yellows" the entire duration of school and no" reds". He is strong willed and identical to me in almost every way possible so Im so proud that he is able to rein it in for 6 hrs and listen attentively lol!
We've had several fun events at school since Ive blogged last. The most exciting for Kal-El was probably when his Daddy came up to the school to talk about trains and his job as a conductor as well as jiu jitsu. I so wish I had of been there to take a picture :) We also had the fall festival. I was in charge of making the baskets for the kindergarten classes. It was a bit of an undertaking but I thought it went well! Today was the book fair and Kal-El loved it. He missed school yesterday due to a 24 hr tummy virus but I think he enjoyed getting to walk through after school today and take his time even more. He still loves snakes and checks out library books about them and only them. He still begs to eat octopus weekly (usually after football games) and even told Mrs. Davis if he gets another yellow that he cant have it bc its a special treat lol! K's teacher also messaged me last Friday when they had popcorn and a movie and asked me ..."has this baby never had hotdogs or popcorn" Apparently Kal-El refused the treat and gave a little speech on choking hazards lol! My. child. Thats about all for now. I will update again soon. Its way to hard to think of everything when you get behind!
First official school picture :)
"I think I may have gotten on yellow today...I'm stressed...no questions please"
