Happy Valentine's Day 2012!

  It's Valentine's Day! Ah the day of LOVE :) My valentine of 7 years is stuck on a train today and as always he is VERY missed. Not that it really matters that he's not here on the exact date of the 14th we try to dedicate MORE than just one day out of the year for each other. I did manage to get my gift early this year. My prints of the boys from HMP Studios for the house and I love them! I'm really looking forward to a date night when he arrives back home xoxo. In the mean time we, along with everyone else in our family, made SURE our little heart breakers had a blast on this fun filled themed holiday! :) We are currently swimming in new toys and stuffed animals. I baked heart cookies for my boys and I must say I now understand why iced decorated cookies are not cheap. Whew it's a lot of work. The icing has to be exactly the right texture for outlining. Once thats done the icing has to dry, then the texture has to be perfect again in order to flood the cookie. The filling has to dry on top before you start the more detailed design. Umm I never got that far. I flooded the cookies...then we ATE them :) They weren't exactly pretty but wow they tasted amazing! I've tried SEVERAL recipes in hopes to get the perfect rolled sugar cookie along with the perfect icing to compliment it. I think I finally found the winner!
 I know one day Valentine's Day might not be as fun where Kal-el and Logan are concerned. For right now Chris and I are the love of their lives but I know some day another little girl ..(or in Kal-el's case girl(S)...since he likes them so much..ugh pray for me! ) will come along and want to be their valentines! I'll I can say is lock up your daughters lol you've been warned ;) I know one thing if they take after their Daddy some lucky lady is going to feel very special and very much loved...just as I always do! Happy Valentine's Day! I'll close with my favorite love quote. Same as last year. Still so very true.

Valentine's Pictures- Little Heart Breakers :)

  I loved how the boys Valentine's Day pictures from HMP Studios turned out and I couldn't wait until Valentine's Day to post them! Heather always does an amazing job! My little guys don't pose too bad themselves! :) Kal-el for one loves to be in front of the camera at home and he warms up a little more each time we have professional pictures made. Logan will work also...as long as you keep the milk coming! I ordered four pictures from the shoot that I really liked. Which is really a lot for a mini session. I'll have to wait until the pictures come in to share the 4th one but here are the first three. Happy Valentine's Day from our little superheros! <3
