Happy Mother's Day 2011

I love being a Mommy and I love spending quality time with my mother so it stands to reason that this is one of my favorite times of year. Mother's Day is such a special day and if you are among the individuals that are able to share this day along side your mother consider this to be such a blessing ..I certainly do. I know there are lots of Mommies in heaven and lots of children who weren't fortunate enough to have them in the first place.
My own mother and I have had ups and downs and growing pains as well as times in adulthood where we haven't seen eye to eye on things but I never question the love she has for me and I will continue to have for her. I know that we will always have a unique, close relationship whether we are best friends or wanting to pull each others hair out at times lol. I've always known I could be myself with her. I hope we never ever lose this. She is forever loved and will always have a special place in my heart.
This is also the last Mother's Day that I will be a Mommy of one.  I'll have to say that it really started this year. Once you make the decision to have a child and carry him or her the love has already started. Logan is already very much a part of my heart even though he is not in the outside world just yet. I can't wait to watch him and Kal-el play together. I love Kal-el to such an indescribable degree that I can't imagine feeling this again with yet another sweet little guy but I know that I will. :)
To celebrate Mother's Day this year I woke up to sweet cards from Chris "Bear" and Kal-el. Chris had to actually force Super to hand his card over to me. He kept screaming "No no no it's MINE" to the top of his lungs. It was so funny. I think he wanted it because it had Pooh on it. He didnt understand why it belonged to me lol. I received a wonderful little surprise for my blog as Mother's Day gift that I can't wait to share so stay tuned it will be finished soon! Chris got called out and just barely missed the church service today....lol umm probably a good thing since Kal-el was WILD. We sat him in the very back of the church and he pranced around in Nannie's high heels after he all but demanded she remove them. He also found a random ball under a chair. He was really a sight in high heels trying to dribble a basketball...such a well rounded child I have lol. He finally got so animal like that we drug carried him to the nursery. After church I headed back to get him and noticed that his friend Toby was in there as well. Maybe Super diva should of started off in there :)
It was lunch at Fiesta after church. We had a great time.  Kal-el showed out some more. At one point he had packs of sugar poured out on the table. I think Zach called them sugar lines. haha But my child was literally licking the table. How wonderful. By the end of the meal I think we had we were ready to head home. :) Mom and I had a girls night (with Kal-el of course) and closed out the night with yummy strawberry tarts and the Kardashians. Happy Mother's Day!
