A New Addition to the Blog Header :)

Notice anything new? Yep, there's Logan! In his cartoon form ..complete with little wolverine ears and all :) I debated having him added just yet since he's not here with us in person BUT he is already very much a part of our family and our hearts... plus my blog designer was able to work me in really quickly..so I thought ..why not?! I can't wait to order more personalized items with our new logo. First on the list will probably be Kal-el's big brother shirt (complete with his cartoon family) for his trip to visit sweet baby brother in the hospital! :)

Wordless Wednesday- Mischief at the 3D Movies :)

Logan in 4D!

I love 4D ultrasounds! They are such a nice little surprise at the end of pregnancy. I have been so curious to see what baby Logan looks like because in the past few 2d ultrasounds that we have had his profile looked so much like Kal-el's. I knew the 4D would help confirm or deny my suspicion that our boys would favor. This first picture I think looks very much like Super, however some of the others I'm not so sure..what do you think? I know one thing this little guy seems a good bit bigger than his older brother. I was amazed that he looked so chubby already. My Mom blurted out "Hey look at Fat Albert awww"..I was mortified..she thought it was hilarious..me and Chris? lol not so much. He is going to be a good sized baby though. Kal-el better watch out :) Actually I don't think Kal-el will be phased he's got too much heart. Pray for me, with two big boys, two years apart..I feel sorry for the furniture and don't even get me started on what their teenage years will do to my health especially if Logan ends up being a little heart breaker like Super!
I was so thrilled that Logan allowed us to get several great views of him. This was not the case with Kal-el who was stubborn during the entire ultrasound and often made grouchy faces the few times he would move his hands out of the front of his face. It all makes since now LOL.  Perhaps Logan will be a more laid back and cooperative of the two..we will just have to see! Come on June!!!

Look at all this hair already!!
Sweet Logan...Mommy, Daddy, and big brother can't wait to meet you!

Here's a link to Kal-el's 4D from a few years ago...I've been comparing them :)

Happy Mother's Day 2011

I love being a Mommy and I love spending quality time with my mother so it stands to reason that this is one of my favorite times of year. Mother's Day is such a special day and if you are among the individuals that are able to share this day along side your mother consider this to be such a blessing ..I certainly do. I know there are lots of Mommies in heaven and lots of children who weren't fortunate enough to have them in the first place.
My own mother and I have had ups and downs and growing pains as well as times in adulthood where we haven't seen eye to eye on things but I never question the love she has for me and I will continue to have for her. I know that we will always have a unique, close relationship whether we are best friends or wanting to pull each others hair out at times lol. I've always known I could be myself with her. I hope we never ever lose this. She is forever loved and will always have a special place in my heart.
This is also the last Mother's Day that I will be a Mommy of one.  I'll have to say that it really started this year. Once you make the decision to have a child and carry him or her the love has already started. Logan is already very much a part of my heart even though he is not in the outside world just yet. I can't wait to watch him and Kal-el play together. I love Kal-el to such an indescribable degree that I can't imagine feeling this again with yet another sweet little guy but I know that I will. :)
To celebrate Mother's Day this year I woke up to sweet cards from Chris "Bear" and Kal-el. Chris had to actually force Super to hand his card over to me. He kept screaming "No no no it's MINE" to the top of his lungs. It was so funny. I think he wanted it because it had Pooh on it. He didnt understand why it belonged to me lol. I received a wonderful little surprise for my blog as Mother's Day gift that I can't wait to share so stay tuned it will be finished soon! Chris got called out and just barely missed the church service today....lol umm probably a good thing since Kal-el was WILD. We sat him in the very back of the church and he pranced around in Nannie's high heels after he all but demanded she remove them. He also found a random ball under a chair. He was really a sight in high heels trying to dribble a basketball...such a well rounded child I have lol. He finally got so animal like that we drug carried him to the nursery. After church I headed back to get him and noticed that his friend Toby was in there as well. Maybe Super diva should of started off in there :)
It was lunch at Fiesta after church. We had a great time.  Kal-el showed out some more. At one point he had packs of sugar poured out on the table. I think Zach called them sugar lines. haha But my child was literally licking the table. How wonderful. By the end of the meal I think we had we were ready to head home. :) Mom and I had a girls night (with Kal-el of course) and closed out the night with yummy strawberry tarts and the Kardashians. Happy Mother's Day!
