Super Bowl 2013
Super Bowl Sunday was lots of fun at our house...even if we were all still a little sick and our team lost. Boooo! I didn't get to do a full dessert table but I did make a cupcake stand for our yummy cupcakes! It turned out super cute :) Earlier in the day we had chili with Nannie and Poppa and let the boys have a little fun on the swing set before getting read for the game. I can't wait until our boys are old enough to play sports. I think they will really enjoy it. I know I will...which is crazy because I never thought I'd say that :)

Keeping Up With Kal-El- January
I haven't done one of these in awhile and I swear Super gets more witty by the day. I don't see how both our personalities fit in the same house let alone room! Here's are some of my favorites of this month :) Theses are pulled from Facebook so everyones heard most of these but I need a way to document on the blog so I won't for get!
-Super and I saw a commercial with a pregnant woman.
Me: You and Logan were in my tummy like that...see!
K: I know, (sad face) I don't like when you eat babies, please dont do that again..its not very nice at all!
-Something tells me this might be a long day and we may not want to leave the house. Kal-El's "pets"...Sissy, Smelly, and Stinky HAVE to accompany us . One already got away from him and I heard him say to it " Oh you had me so worried, you dont ever do that again!" in super dramatic fashion. Yep Im not riding around with him and his LADYBUGS today.
- Kal-El's mispronunciation of words almost gave me a heart attack this morning." I really need some b*tches. I can't really play without those at this ballgame Mommy. Do we have any b*itches?? I need little ones." He wants BENCHES..umm but that's NOT how we was saying it LOL!
-Kal-El is seriously SO embarrassing to shop with...I will NEVER take him around bras again.."Mommy you so silly you don't need beige boobies get a green one so you have big green boobies...I love green...what color boobies you want tomorrow" Then he karate chopped all the garments on our way out complete with "hi-ya" sound effects. Really nice.
-The following statement makes up for our daily battle of wills ;)
While putting on my makeup and earrings this am Kal-El said "Oh wow I LOOOOVE how you decorate you self Mommy..you pretty like a party"
-Kal-El: Mommy girls don't have winkies so they can't go potty...thats soooo sad
Me: No its really not hun...God made boys and girls different
K: What do girls have instead?
Me: A brain
LOL I redirected and answered appropriately, that first reply was almost reflex ;)
-I've laughed til I've cried..Kal-El wont go to sleep bc he colored his fingers with markers and is now "sad he's not beige anymore" and he's crying and saying hes so sad bc he never wanted to be a zombie...just beige
-I guess Chris just reprimanded Kal-El...Im assuming this because he just walked in the room angry and teary eyed and said "I don't like him anymore..at all...bc he's a hater and not my friend and him needs to go to Dr. Melvins to get a shot..thats what he needs....LOL
-"I stressed..don't need Scooby Doo to turn me into 4...I going to stay three this year...no party. I need to stay home and eat real food"
-I seriously need to start recording Kal-El bc yall would die...hes having a panic attack right now on the comcast guy bc he sat the "ugly orange cone down in his yard and thats not a pretty party and is embarrassing" mean while Im trying to drag him away so he appears to have been somewhat rasised while Logan screams in the background while the table goes in and out. Welcome to the zoo LOL
-Apparently not only am I a "little lady" but as of tonight I can also add " hater that hands out wrong rules" LOL thank you Kal -El Borquez NEVER a dull second in the day
And finally today :
"I do NOT need Dr. Melvin..he's a hater and him give me shots, my spit does not hurt (his phrase when he has a sore throat), I'm NOT sick..I'm fine..I fight them" Umm I'm guessing Super caught Chris's bug LOL. Drama. ;)

Not Again!
For the 4th time in Chris's MMA amateur career he was unable to fight due to an opponent backing off of a card. Soooo not fair and I hate it for him. He once again worked so hard to prepare for a fight that didn't happen! We have got to regroup and figure out which direction he wants to go and how he wants to move forward. I support him 100% with whatever his choice ends up being. Whether it be to take on a larger venue or just focus more on jiujitsu for now. The boys and I are his biggest fans! In spite of the fight let down we have had a great week. Chris has a few days off and we have been spending lots of time doing nothing. It's been wonderful! We've had family movie nights almost every night this week. I feel bad that I haven't updated and missed Wordless yesterday but its been so nice to just relax and enjoy each others company. We were originally going to Kentucky with Mom and Larry to visit the farm but Chris and Logan both have stuffy noses as of today so I'm hoping that somehow Kal-El and I can avoid it but thats probably wishful thinking...fingers crossed though! We also survived Tuesday nights cold front that brought severe weather with it. We did the bath tub thing in the middle of the night when the tornado warning went off. Chris was even a good sport and hid out with us although he declined to get in the tub lol. Super and Logan were play fighting in the tub and I was on the verge of a panic attack .Nothing new there. I hate severe weather! We are supposed to get a few flurries tonight. Only in Alabama is it 70 degrees one day and 48 hours later we may get a flurry or two ;) I'll be a better blogger in February again but for now I'm going to have more snuggle time!

Catch Up :)
It's been 10 days since I've blogged. I know, I know bad bad blogger. I've spoiled everyone with 3x a week in posts in the past. I intended these pictures to be part of last weeks Wordless Wednesday post but wordless didn't happen...primarily because we were busy building, cutting, and painting a plywood Mystery Machine! It was a lot of work but tons of fun. We start the villains next week and that will be an even bigger project in terms of detail! After spending all day working on crafts we also spent the night with Mom and Larry on Wednesday night. Chris came over for a low carb dinner with us before heading out on the train to Memphis that night. We had lots of fun and got lots accomplished .
The next day I received all my printables from Piggy Bank Parties. They were nothing short of amazing! I got to work on having the large backdrop poster printed. This one is a bit larger than my other ones so I found myself spending more time creating something to mount it to before I mounted it to the actual back board itself. Once all was done I was super happy with the results. I still need to add tri color tissue poms before its complete but the hard part is out of the way with 2 months to spare woo hoo!
I took a day off of Friday and got a little shopping done...with Kal-El. Seriously never a dull moment. I will NEVER take him around bras again.."Mommy you so silly you don't need beige boobies get a green one so you have big green boobies...I love green...what color boobies you want tomorrow" Then he karate chopped all the garments on our way out complete with "hi-ya" sound effects. Really nice. He's the hilarious love of my life!
Last night I reluctantly agreed to a repeat of the spend the night party at Mom's..sans me. I say reluctantly bc this will only be the 2nd time I've woken up to little faces NOT being there in the morning. I'm not judging but I dont see how some moms do it. I really don't think I could go on a trip without them. With that being said it was super nice to have a date night with my handsome hubby. :) We went to see a hilarious movie and enjoyed some UFC fights with friends. Next weekend is when the real fight takes places...Chris Bears...ugh..let the nerves begin. He's worked SO hard once again and this time I'm sure he will actually get to depend his belt. I can't wait to see him in action :)
Well, that sums up most of our week. I'll do a better job of keeping up and keeping my camera charged. Several of these shots are from my cell phone so sorry about the quality. :)
