He's Here! Logan's Arrival :)

  Our precious Logan is finally here with us in person! We are already head over heels in love with him. Everything was set in place for my upcoming c section Monday morning but my little Wolverine had other plans. It all started late Wednesday night. I've had pressure for weeks now so when I went to bed cramping I didn't think too much of it. Come 2:00 am I thought A LOT more of it. I starting waking up every up 30 min or so with what I thought were contractions. I didn't really have much to compare to because I had a c section with Kal-el and so of course Logan's birth would go the same way....or so I thought. I took for granted that because my births end in a c section DOES NOT mean that I couldn't go into labor inintally. So here I was at nearly 3 am on the couch (attempting to sleep ..lol yea right) so my crying out in pain would not wake Chris or Kal-el and obviously in complete denial about being in labor or at the very least confused about the signs. Chris and I decided to time my contractions. Chris swears they were 5 min apart, I thought they were closer to 7 or 8 minutes. I had an appointment with Dr. Musgrove that morning at 9 so I was just focused on making it until then. By the time 7am rolled about my pain was really intensified and I was starting to bleed a good bit. Chris and I made our way over to ECM. I had 3 contractions in the car on the ride over. Once I got to a room to be checked I was told I was nearly at 4cm and having contractions every 3-5 minutes. Active labor...wow did NOT expect to here that. My pain got worse by the minute and I was told they would be taking Logan in one hour. I could of climbed the walls, the pain was unbearable, Dr Wakefield was correct when he said if I ever went into labor I'd be in lots of pain with back labor. Well he was correct! Chris held my hand and we waited on Super Big Brother Kal-el and the rest of the family to arrive. I was FINALLY  taken back for my WONDERFUL c section and not a moment to soon. My spinal was ruff this time but only because I was contracting through it. Once the surjery got underway and Chris bear was by my side I was perfectly fine and just wanted to meet our little Logan. In no time they had him out and we could here those sweet cries. When they brought him over to me the first thing I noticed was how much hair he had. Wow I've never seen so much on a newborn..He has mine and Kal-el's lips. I planted a huge kiss on them..and just like with Super it was love at first sight. Pain or no pain I decided to decline the Versad. I didn't want any drugs that made me forgot any of the birth process. Great choice because I remember everything after recovery unlike with Super's birth. It was a wonderful day watching my precious first baby interacting with his new little brother and calling him "my baby" as well as becoming parents again with my husband. We are so blessed. June 16th will always be such a happy day and it looks like Chris received the perfect Father's Day gift this year! Happy Birthday Baby Logan. Welcome to the Borquez family little one. We love you soooo much :)
